We have received an email from Microsoft asking us to remove the Windows logo from the site George & Mike's Guide to Windows 95. Rather than spend many hours redoing the graphics for a site that, frankly, is not very relevant any more, we took the site down. We have received another email from Microsoft. Over the years, we gave permission to a number of free educational sites to mirror this tutorial. It seems Microsoft found one of these and assumes we are moving the Guide around trying to hide from them and keep it on line. This time they are threatening legal action.

Even with the billions in stock losses since Microsoft's loss in their antitrust case, they still have much more money to spend on lawyers than we do. Just to be on the safe side, we have therefor removed ALL of our Windows 95 and NT tutorials from this site and all others over which we have control. We thank you for all of the positive feedback over the years.

If you know of anyone hosting a site with a copy of our tutorial, please ask them to take it down.
